Lois and Terry are in Auckland
We are now back in New Zealand!! Sorry we didn’t want to announce it in advance as we coincidently timed our return to attend a family wedding in Christchurch and wanted to surprise our family and what a surprise!!
We decided to come back to see through the sale of 110 Percent to Robyn who has worked with me for ten years, plus get some new visas as our current visas will have expired when we reach the East Coast of the US in around June!
Its been a very hectic but amazing time with the wedding in Christchurch and then having to say ‘goodbye’ to our dear friend Robin Somerville, attending his funeral in Auckland this week. We were very fortunate with our timing to attend both celebrations!
It is an absolute bonus to be here but a very strange feeling seeing everyone again – it’s like we have never been away!! But nice to know that when we fly back to Los Angeles we have that ‘Pacific’ behind us – 70 days and nights at sea and 9000 nautical miles!!
It will certainly be a better feeling leaving NZ this time having seen all our friends and family and being familiar with what’s lies ahead!!
Anyway our plans are that we will fly back to LAX on the 24th of March, spend the next few days provisioning and then head for Mexico on about the 28th or 29th of March
We are sorry if we haven’t managed to catch up with everyone in Auckland while we are here however if you are around on Thursday 23rd of March we are gathering at the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron at 6pm.
We will resume to our now ‘normal’ life soon on our lovely home ‘Alpha Crucis’ and continue on our incredible adventure of ‘people and places’!
